The processing plant of Koka gold mine in Eritrea was scheduled to stop for annual maintenance on June 26.  This was the first large-scale maintenance since the plant has been put into operation. The maintenance was completed in 15 days, which was planned to be 30 days, and the plant started up and was back to normal operation successfully on July 11.
